HOW TO BOOK AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

- Initial Contact: Contact restaurant manager by telephone or e-mail to check the date you require.
- Deposits: We require a £10 per person deposit and £20 per person for New Years Eve. You will be advised upon booking, the date it is due. Failure to pay deposit by due date will result in an automatic cancellation of your booking.
- Bookings : Those customers booking early may not know exact numbers but we would ask you to please confirm final numbers by 01.11.09. If you have overpaid deposits up to 01.11.09, we will take the overpaid amount from your bill on the evening. Please note this only applies to bookings made before the 01.11.09. If we have not heard from you we will assume your original reservation has not changed. Bookings made after the 01.11.09 will be required to pay a deposit within 7 days and the deposit is non-refundable.
- Party night: If you arrive with less people than you booked for, this will result in financial loss to the restaurant and we will have turned away many customers during this very busy period. Therefore the total deposits of non attending guests will be retained as compensation. Lost deposits cannot be used by the rest ofthe party against their bill.
Please ensure all party guests are aware of this.
- Full payment: From our previous experience we advise you to settle your party food bill in advance, so you can relax and enjoy the evening. Wine, drinks and service charge can be settled on the evening. If you wish to prepay please ring the restaurant for details.
- Bills: Only one bill per party will be issued. We are not able to take cash for individual drinks at the bar. They will be itemised on one final bill.
- Menu choices must be received no later than 14 days prior to party date.
- For parties over 6 it is advisable that the party organiser keeps a copy of the food ordered with people’s names so they can be
reminded on the night to avoid confusion.
- Parties over 10 are not guaranteed to be seated on one table but will be seated in the same area. Seating plans differ from day to
day depending on party sizes.
- Those wishing to sit on ground floor restaurant please be aware that part of the restaurant becomes a dance floor later on in the
evening after your meal and some tables may be removed or pushed up against the wall so you can dance the night away.
- Service charge: A 10% optional service charge will be added to your bill which is shared amongst staff and not touched by management.
- Cabs: At this busy time of year it is advisable to prebook your cabs as the waiting time can be up to 2 hours and give them your mobile number to contact you directly or the name that your party has booked under.
- The Acropolis reserves the right to alter any of the contents of its menus if it is deemed necessary
- Party organiser must ensure all party members are aware of our terms and conditions. A copy will be available on the night.
